ABOUT US:
Rustic Reptiles was established in the fall of '09. We are located in beautiful, rural Swanzey, NH.
Reptiles have long been a passion of mine and it was at this time that circumstances in life made it possible for me to start my breeding "colony" of snakes. At the moment we are focusing on corn snakes and ball pythons, we hope to add more species in the future.
I have 7+ years experience in breeding African Pygmy Hedgehogs and went by the business name of Prickly Pair Hedgehogs. We did very well and produced healthy, beautiful high quality animals, many of whom won ribbons at shows and have gone onto to other breeders to help their lines. We've also bred Chinchillas and Guinea Pigs in the past.
Raising snakes will obviously be very different but I am up for the challenge and have been researching as much as possible and will always continue to learn about health, husandry and breeding as new research and information is always coming out.
My snakes health and well-being is my primary focus, and any hatchlings they produce will be a bonus. Our goal is to provide healthy, beautiful color morphs in both species and to be able to offer them at a reasonable price.
Obviously we are in the beginning stages of our endevour and will not have babies available for some time. We may possibly have a clutch of corn snakes and one of ball pythons available summer of '10.
Please feel free to check back with us then!
Thank you for browsing our site, enjoy the photos and don't forget to check out our links page to see other reptile breeders we recommend as well as other small animal breeders that we have become friends with over the years.

My two daughters also enjoy spending time with our reptillian friends.

Myself (Nicole), getting up close with our "normal" female ball python, Starling.
Many thanks to my husband for agreeing to allow me to raise these fabulous reptiles and for the financial and construction help as well. Although he prefers to keep his distance from the snakes, I couldn't do this without his support!
